Amanda Bynes Legs should Win a Critics Choice Award
Amanda Bynes showed off her amazing legs at the 13th annual Critics’ Choice Awards Arrivals in Santa Monica yesterday. That big smile was still there even though she wasn’t too happy about the Golden Globes being canceled.
SANTA MONICA, California — They came to walk the first major red carpet of the awards season, to catch up with friends, hope for a statue and maybe give a speech. But inevitably, the attendees of Monday’s 13th annual Critics’ Choice Awards found their thoughts returning to the news that Sunday’s Golden Globes have been effectively canceled.
“I’m sad,” admitted Amanda Bynes, whose “Hairspray” has three Globe nominations, but no ceremony during which to receive them. “It’s the first time I’ve ever been in a movie that’s been nominated for any type of Golden Globe. I was definitely excited to go.”
I can turn that frown upside down Amanda, just give me a call. I’ll remind you about how far you’ve come from the days of “She’s the Man.” Okay, that wasn’t that long ago, but at least you’re moving up in the world. Although there’s no way in hell I would watch “Hairspray,” at least somebody did and they liked it enough to nominate it. So think about that Amanda, oh … and don’t forget to call.
