Minka Kelly will Save Friday Night Lights
Minka Kelly is back in the public eye after her split with John Mayer and I’m betting that her hotness will save the show and so does the executive producer:
Executive producer Jason Katims said he’s “incredibly optimistic” about a third season for the drama, which has been in limbo since the writers strike ended.
“There’s no deal yet for the show,” Katims said Wednesday at the William S. Paley Television Festival. “But we are being incredibly optimistic that’s going to happen and happen soon.”
Fans have fought to keep the show on the air, launching SaveFridayNightLights.tv and asking viewers to send donations to fill NBC entertainment chief Ben Silverman’s mailbox with miniature plastic footballs.
Okay, maybe it might be saved because of Adrianne Palicki’s hotness as well, or it might be saved because it’s actually a good show. If it isn’t saved, what do they expect me to do on Friday nights? Do you really expect me to leave my house in this freezing cold weather instead of staying in and watching these two hotties get in cat fights? No way, my ass is firmly planted in my seat as soon as I hear the opening song and see Minka in her hot little cheerleading outfit.
