Natalie Portman Regrets Naked Sex Scenes
Natalie Portman regrets doing sex scenes for the short film “Hotel Chevalier” (13 min) with Jason Schwartzman according to MTV:
Natalie Portman has opened up to the press about a naked sex scene that she took part in last year. The role featured in short film Hotel Chevalier by director Wes Anderson.
Portman revealed that with hindsight she wouldn’t have agreed to the nudity as the press just seemed to focus in, so to speak, on her part rather than the film “I’m not prudish about nudity. I think it’s beautiful in films, and sex is such a big part of life.”
It seems that Natalie was receiving critiques from a different kind of audience than she is usually accustomed to “My picture ended up on porn sites, and that’s the dilemma.”
If you get naked you’re going to end up on porn sites one way or another. If you’re famous you’re definitely going to end up on porn sites even if you didn’t get naked. However, I’m pretty damn happy that Natalie Portman changed her mind about the whole nudity issue. “Closer” was amazing and I’m glad that she thinks it’s beautiful in films, and I must say my pants agree.
